All of these goats were painted in 2009. Alpha goat (the one on the blue background) is another rendition of a goat I have painted many times; the other 4 are from the 2009 county fair; the Marin Agricultural Land Trust MALT exhibit. I particularly enjoyed painting these guys as they are especially expressive and fun-loving. They seemed jazzed to be surrounded with admirers, and didn't mind my chasing them with my camera.
