The Cloud Foundation, (http://www.thecloudfoundation.org/home.html)  is small group of very dedicated people determined to protect the remaining mustangs.  This foundation focuses on a particular herd headed by a powerful, beautiful stallion named "Cloud".  Cloud has been followed from birth by Ginger Kathrens, head of the foundation.  The project has been featured on several KQED Pledge Drives, and Ginger - an incredible photographer, has published two gorgeous books (available on her web site at a very reasonable price).  Proceeds from the sale of my paintings of Cloud and his band, will benefit the foundation.

Cloud lives in Montana, in a remote area of the Southern Rockies known as the Arrowhead range.
