These are Mini Paintings (5" X 5") on thick wood or canvas blocks. The blocks allow the paintings to stand by themselves, or they can be wall hung. Mini's work well by themselves, or in groups designed by you. I always have a collection on hand and replenish often. They make good gifts as the price is reasonable. An original piece of art can sometimes make a statement that a store-bought item can't.
It is unusual for me to include figures in my paintings, but this little painting seemed to about the intersection between indoors (the self) and outdoors (nature).
