Oil Paintings by Deborah Bertola

These paintings are grouped together only by virtue of their size. All were done in my studio in Sausalito. The canvases would be to large for me to handle plein air. Paintings included in this section are 30" x 40", 36" x 36" etc.

The history of the Bunkers can be found at: Bunkers at Fort Baker. I have been told that these particular units were completed around 1898 and have named my paintings "Homeland Security, 1898" there are three of them in the series.
